The Egg-ceptional Hunt
Easter is a whimsical time of year to celebrate alongside loved ones.
And with the clubhouse adorned with vibrant pastel decorations, we were set for an extraordinary Easter extravaganza.
The annual Easter Brunch & Hunt welcomed families with mouthwatering à la carte brunch offerings, a photo-op with the Easter Bunny, a spirited craft station, and an adrenaline-fueled Easter Egg Hunt for the young (and young at heart).
Wine-ing Down
The Shore Lodge Winemaker's Dinner graced the tables of The Narrows Steakhouse this past April.
This extraordinary event featured a remarkable five-course meal, perfectly paired with the distinctive wines from Pepper Bridge and Amavi Cellars.
A new chapter of culinary mastery unfolded with each course, revealing a custom menu designed to elevate the wines to their fullest potential. From the first delicate bite to the last lingering note, the flavors created an extraordinary culinary experience for all.
The magic of the evening was further heightened by the knowledge and passion of the winemakers themselves, who shared their insights and stories, adding an intimate layer to the tasting experience.
Her Special Day
What's better than our annual lakeside Mother's Day Brunch?
The Salmon River Mountains and Payette Lake provided a picturesque backdrop, while the smooth and soft strings of a live harpist filled the air, members enjoyed an expertly crafted menu for the special occasion.
As the event drew to a close, moms were given a gift to take home as a token of appreciation for all they've done.
Swinging into Action
Our seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers welcomed the swift swings of clubs and the thrill of competition as the Whitetail Club Golf Couse reopened for the 2023 season for the Season Opening Tournament.
The course witnessed the prowess of each participant as they navigated the fairways. The air crackled with anticipation as the teams, composed of both members and guests, battled it out.
As the sun began its descent, the day's competition drew to a close, and participants eagerly joined us at The Golf Grille to celebrate the tournament winners and mingle with their fellow competitors.
Culinary Delights
Extraordinary culinary events at Whitetail Club are de riguer, and this spring was no different.
We hosted two extraordinary events where our members could indulge in a harmonious blend of flavors. Exclusive to only Whitetail Club Members, the Members Only Wine Dinner unveiled a world of flavors accompanied by wines from the Kermit Lynch Portfolio, a renowned collective featuring exceptional varietals. As we progressed through our five-course dinner, the flavors sang in unison with the nuanced notes of the wines.
To top this experience, we embarked on a progressive culinary adventure for our spring Progressive Dinner. Starting at the heart of the community, members met at the clubhouse for a glass of bubbly before being transported to the homes of Whitetail Club Members. The first stop revealed an array of decadent hors d'oeuvres teasing the palate for the journey ahead. As the trail deepened, so did the offerings, with the next stop being a savory entrée. For Whitetail Club's culinary team's final act, delectable desserts awaited at the last stop.
In a Pickle
The exhilarating clash of paddles and echoes of competition bounced through the walls of the Indoor Tennis & Fitness Center at our 8th annual Pickleball Tournament.
With the ever-growing popularity of this fun and intense sport, we were at full capacity as members went head-to-head to claim the coveted title of Whitetail Club Pickleball Champions.
With fun and finesse, each match unfolded until the final team was victorious. Afterward, members gathered at The Fish & Swim Club to celebrate the newly crowned champs.
Seeking Adventure
Nature enthusiasts and wanderers alike gathered for Whitetail Club's annual Hike & Picnic, where they fully immersed themselves in the breathtaking beauty of Idaho's wilderness.
Whitetail Club Members embarked on a journey through Hazard Creek Trail & Falls, an incredible hike nestled within the McCall wilderness. The trail unveiled towering Ponderosa Pine trees, a rippling stream, lush greens, and cascading waterfalls.
Amidst the serenity of the surroundings, members indulged in a delicious lunch prepared by the Whitetail Club culinary team.
