Jet Boat Tour
Our fishing trip in Hell’s Canyon on the Snake River was one to remember. We boarded a jet boat with S&S River Outfitters and charged through the canyon wilderness before chasing trophy fish like White Sturgeon, the largest freshwater fish in North America. We faced roaring rapids, dramatic canyon walls, and the excitement of fishing in wild waters. Then we tested our luck and hooked impressive catches for a riverside trophy photo.
Horseback Trail Ride
There’s nothing like a day on the trail with Ya-Hoo Corrals! This family-owned outfitter is just minutes from downtown McCall, heading into the scenic Payette National Forest. Our expert guides paired us with gentle, well-trained horses, and we set out on a scenic ride through rolling terrain, glacial valleys, and lush vegetation, with wildlife sightings along the way. It was a relaxed adventure, soaking up nature and sharing laughs with friends and family.
Season Opening Tournament
We welcomed the 2026 Whitetail Club golf season with our Season Opening Tournament. We formed teams of four, including fellow members and guests, and competed for shopping credits and bragging rights. Our Two-Best-of-Four Net format was perfect for both seasoned pros and new players alike. After our rounds, we met at The Golf Grille for Cocktail Hour to announce the winners and enjoy drinks and appetizers.
Wine Dinner with
The Narrows Steakhouse welcomed Vietti for a special wine dinner with an exquisite five-course menu. Founded in Italy’s Piedmont region, Vietti is known for prized vineyards across Barolo and Barbaresco. The estate blends time-honored winemaking traditions with modern techniques, expressing a clear sense of place and culture. Its reach extends across Langhe, Roero, Asti, and Colli Tortonesi, with wines celebrated for their elegance, structure, and complexity.
Wine and golf paired perfectly together as we celebrated at 9 & Wine - nine holes of golf with course-side wine, cocktails, and appetizers. After our rounds, we gathered at the clubhouse for a Wine Dinner spotlighting JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, where each dish was thoughtfully paired with their Bordeaux-style blends. The menu included Lobster Corn Bisque, Pepper-Crusted Elk Loin, Braised Short Rib, and more, while learning about JUSTIN’s limestone-rich Paso Robles vineyards and small-barrel aging process.
Member Cocktail Party
Our inaugural cocktail party on NYE was so exciting that we brought it back for a springtime edition! We indulged in an evening of cocktails, food, live music, and the start of another great summer at Whitetail Club. We brought Nashville to McCall with a live performance by John Hollier & The Rêverie, who rocked the Lakeside Stage with their high-energy performance and played their latest album, Rainmaker, and hits like “Somewhere Down the Road.”
